THM MACROSHOTS N25
[ADIDAS Terrex Gore-Tex]
We were always fascinated by the beauty of different textiles. When you see such a detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth, and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Terrex – is the outdoor line of the German sports giant Adidas. We turned our attention to the things equipped with the GORE-TEX membrane and explored them in our author's series of editorials. The Rain Jacket is made of a 2.5-layer GORE-TEX Paclite membrane, and also has inserts from Primegreen - a series of high-performance recycled materials, containing a minimum of 60% recycled content. It is equipped with an adjustable hem, cuffs, hood and, due to it's light material, it is easy to fold and it does not take up much space. Ideal for light-packing tourism or urban commuting.
The Free Hiker sneakers are also equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane in its shoe iteration called Surround. The upper part of the shoe is complemented by inserts made of elastic knitted Primeknit material, and the molded toe has reinforced protective inserts. The midsole is equipped with a shock-absorbing Boost material, seated on the outsole with a Continental ™ rubber tread. Armed with the latest relevant technologies of the company, the sneakers are designed for hiking, but they will definitely feel at home in a demi-season urban environment.

Here is our new THM Macroshot editorial, exploring this amazing collection.
