So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth, and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Our new macro-editorial exploring the eye-catching details in the SS21 collection from MERRELL 1TRL. The 1TRL line is a premium line, focused on high-quality materials, new aesthetics and performance of models designed for all types of conditions, be it trail and hiking in the muddiest conditions or everyday city wear. We explored 2 models from this drop.

Moab Speed is made taking into account the innovations of the original model and updated for constantly changing trails. It is equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane, a FloatPro Foam midsole and a Vibram EcoDura outsole made of 30% recycled materials. The lining, insole and laces are also of recycled origin. The sneakers are available in exclusive black and white colors.

The MQM Ace Craze [Move Quickly over Mountains] model is also a sportier iteration of the original silhouette. It is equipped with a premium suede and textile upper, a leather and breathable mesh lining, an insole and midsole made of EVA foam [50% recycled], also recycled laces and a Vibram MegaGrip sole. Available in white and red colors.
