When you see such detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Our new macro-editorial exploring the details of NIKE ACG's Mountain Fly Low colorway made exclusively for HAVEN. First released in the high version last fall, the Mountain Fly Low is a versatile running shoe for urban and suburban environments. Borrowed elements from the NEXT% running line in the form of a React foam sole and a full-length Flyplate carbon plate, which all add durability and protection from uneven surfaces. Water-resistant upper made of lightweight fabric with ripstop weave for protection from rain. The sole is made of hard but sticky rubber with thick chevron protrusions that provide a multi-directional grip. The same hard rubber stretches up around the toe to protect it from rocks, sticks, and other debris. The elastic cuff at the back and the speed-lacing system ensure a secure fit of the foot.

Exclusive to this particular pair is the color scheme, developed in collaboration with the Canadian retailer HAVEN. Sold out very fast, but other colors of this model will soon be available on the NIKE official website and via selected retailers.
