Hiking in Austrian Alps
with Adidas Eyewear
[Highlights]
Working season has started – but for some of us, it never really ends. That’s why moments to escape the digital noise, breathe fresh alpine air, and simply be present with nature and people around us are more precious than ever.

Last week, we had one of those moments in Innsbruck, Austria, on an unforgettable adventure with Adidas, where the mountains became our playground, our laboratory, and our refuge from the everyday.

The first day kicked off with an evening trail run, guided by the Terrex & BASEFIVE team, putting the Agravic Speed shoes through their paces across the trails surrounding Innsbruck. Every step was a little experiment – testing grip, balance, and agility while the city lights faded behind us.

The next day, we went higher – hiking up to the Neue Regensburger Hütte at 2,300 meters.
Up there, we explored local flora and fauna, watched the weather change in dramatic flashes, and embraced a full offline evening – no Wi-Fi, no notifications, just pure mountain air. We challenged ourselves with icebathing, savored a gourmet vegetarian dinner (the refuge is the first ever to offer exclusively plant-based alpine cuisine), and attended a mobility and stress-management workshop – practical tools we all desperately need in our daily lives. It was a full sensory immersion – physical exertion, nature observation, and mind recalibration all rolled into one.

Through all of this, we also tested the new Adidas Dunamis Eyewear, manufactured by Marcolin – a perfect companion for high-performance adventuring. The Adidas Dunamis sunglasses are engineered to deliver uncompromised results: unique lenses shaped in proprietary Marcolin molds, an aerodynamic spoiler to slice through the air, and a frame weighing only 27 grams. The improved rubber grip along the temple tips and fully adjustable nosepads ensure the perfect fit no matter how intense the movement. In the mountains, on trails, or in a city, these sunglasses felt like a tangible extension of performance – designed to unleash power for athletes, adventurers, and anyone ready to push limits.

As we left the Neue Regensburger Hütte behind, it was clear that this adventure was more than a hike – it was a rare chance to disconnect completely, away from Wi-Fi and daily distractions, and simply be present in nature.

From testing trail shoes and high-performance sunglasses to icebathing and exploring the mountains, every moment is a valued reminder on how important it is to step offline, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves.
Special thanks to ECHOS Comms for the invitation, Adidas & BASEFIVE teams for the amazing experience.
