LTEKS Edition 04
[Collection review]
Functional clothing has always followed a certain application purpose since ancient times, whether it is the basic protection of a person from external conditions or as an auxiliary tool in achieving certain goals. In modern reality, any function without a fitting form works less and less often. Many brands strive for a high-quality visual presentation and design of their products.

We are always immensely happy to share unique examples of such interaction, one of which from the very beginning of its transformation is LTEKS, a division of the Korean outdoor giant KOLON SPORT.
KOLON SPORT is a leading Korean outdoor brand, created in 1973. Thanks to the experience accumulated over half a century, the brand continues their research and development to ensure a valuable and comfortable coexistence with nature.

LTEKS is the result of a spin-off that has received the legacy of the original LIFETECH brand. In contrast to the production of clothing for "survival" in harsh environmental conditions, LTEKS focuses on the best indicators of modern city life, offering high-quality urban outerwear using experimental and avant-garde materials and discreet details that create a unique design.

In their new Edition 04 collection called 'ALLUVIUM', LTEKS explores the similarity of the forms of nature and modern technologies used in their products.
"Set in Iceland, this campaign captured the elements of texture, curves, and structural surfaces of topography created by nature.

Using products, LTEKS implemented the most modern and technological images in contrast to nature to deploy visual portrayals of the 'time of nature' and 'time of technology'.

Each campaign unfolds a new perspective and methodology concerning human lifestyle and movement adapting to various environments. The statement to be conveyed in all EDITIONS consistently starts with conviction: the most fundamental function of clothing is protection.

The dictionary defines 'ALLUVIUM' as a deposit of soil, but this campaign intends to interpret it as "accumulation of time".

Edition 04 tells about the relationship between the traces of time accumulated by nature and technology, and how nature and man react to the environment. This collection reflects the technology, meant to protect humanity from various factors of the basic form of nature.

The nomenclature of the release consists of outerwear, including bombers, asymmetrical coats, and traditional front-zip jackets; middle layers with cardigans, blazers, hoodies, neck-tops, and crewnecks; a wide range of bottoms silhouettes, including men's kilt; as well as a variety of accessories such as muffler, load-out field vest, hats, caps and face towel.
LTEKS collections are always distinguished by a unique selection of premium and the most advanced technological materials. The flagship technologies and materials of the collection are GORE-TEX Pro 3L waterproof membrane and an expanded line of Loro Piana Rain System, with variations of Clima and Storm Systems. For this collection, LTEKS also teamed up with the Dutch textile innovation studio BYBORRE to create their own unique 3D knit. A notable feature in this collection is a series of hybrid items using several top-end materials in one product. To add more to this techy fabrics party, we see Aluminium Coated Sleeve Lining, FLAT DOWN insulation, FIDLOCK® magnetic snaps, SYSTEM-MAG® tape, FIORENTINA WOOL blend fleece, BEMBERG® lining, COOLMAX® sweatband, and more.
Edition 04, reflecting the hybrid coexistence of nature and humans, natural forms and technologies. The collection is now on sale in limited quantities at the Kolon Sport website and in Kolon Sport Hannam Flagship Store.
