PUMA CELL GEO SS26
[Editorial by TECHUNTER]
The PUMA CELL Geo signals a considered evolution of PUMA’s CELL lineage, shifting the focus from archival reference to contemporary form.

Presented in three new colorways, the silhouette is defined by a precise geometric language that informs both its structure and visual identity. The decoupled heel unit establishes a distinct foundation, introducing a measured sense of stability while reinforcing the shoe’s architectural profile, as the upper remains controlled and fluid in contrast.

From a technical standpoint, the model builds on the original CELL system developed in the 1990s, recognised for its hexagonal midsole construction and impact absorption.
Here, that framework is reinterpreted through a ridged, separated heel configuration that enhances cushioning while shaping the overall silhouette.

The upper is articulated through sweeping cut lines and semi-shrouded lacing, maintaining a streamlined appearance. Material composition remains deliberate, combining leather, suede, and ballistic mesh to achieve a balance of durability and refinement. The colour palette – spanning earthy green, deep blue, and vivid orange – further underscores the dialogue between performance heritage and a more progressive design approach.

For this editorial, the CELL Geo is positioned within a broader study of functional design. Shot in Paris, our project brings together rare archival pieces from Stone Island, GR10K, Final Home, Maison Margiela, Visvim, Issey Miyake, and Arthur. Through this lens, the sneaker is not treated in isolation, but as part of an ongoing continuum where technical garments and contemporary footwear intersect across different eras and design philosophies.
The latest PUMA CELL Geo will be available starting May 2, 2026, from PUMA web, PUMA flagship stores, and selected PUMA stockists.
