So many brands are making products. Fewer are making good ones. Even fewer are making good products while caring about their impact.
And only a handful are questioning the industry itself – collaborating across borders to reduce the overall footprint while pushing innovation forward.
Houdini Sportswear began in 1993 as a group of climbing friends asking a simple question: how can we make better gear?
Thirty years later, that same question remains – but the scale has become global.
We’ve been following Houdini’s journey for nearly a decade, and this year, we finally had the opportunity to experience their world firsthand.
The journey started in Romsdalen, Norway, at the Romsdal Academy – a gathering designed to reconnect people with nature and remind us of its quiet importance.
From there, we traveled to Stockholm to visit Houdini’s headquarters and meet the team behind the brand. There, we spoke with Jesper Danielsson, Malva Carlsson, and Eva Karlsson about circular design, the Planetary Boundaries framework, and what it truly means to build a regenerative company for the future.
