THM MACROSHOTS N4
[VOLLEBAK Carbon
Fibre T-shirt]
We were always fascinated by the beauty of different textiles. When you see such detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Here is our 4-th editorial with Carbon Fibre t-shirt made by VOLLEBAK. The t-shirt is woven with over 120 metres of carbon fibre which has an atomic structure that makes it stronger than steel. While the t-shirt is still soft, lightweight, breathable, highly elastic and high-wicking, the carbon fibre adds strength and abrasion resistance – acting like a ripstop to save your skin.
In our new TECHUNTER 06 ONLINE digital issue, we spoke with Steve Tidball, Vollebak founder, about the past, the present and the future of innovations, as well as the design for a hundred years to come.
