We were always fascinated by the beauty of different textiles. When you see such detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.
Our latest macro-editorial for 2020 explores the details of Cambre pants by Veilance. With the appearance of classic jeans and an interesting 3D cut, these bottoms actually deserve way more attention. The main material is 12-oz raw Japanese denim with a hollow core made of polyester (76% cotton, 24% polyester), which reduces the weight of the product. Articulated fit is made according to 3D patterns. The laminated construction and a special cut on the inner part of the hips (with a gusset) eliminates the tearing of the fabric during extreme tension. A kind of tribute to traditional workwear and Japanese denim from a modern technological brand.
Here is our new THM Macroshot editorial, exploring this amazing pants.
