Milan Women’s Fashion Week, September 2023,
SS24 [Events photo-report]

Milan has been the world’s hub for culture, arts, and incredible food for centuries, but last week fashion truly stole the spotlight.
We were blessed and fortunate enough to be in Milan during this celebration and we have amassed a selection of imagery that we believe will catch your eyes and interests. This Fashion Week had tons to offer and there were plenty of events all around: from huge concerts by Moncler to insightful talks on AI and the future of our footwear industry – there is truly something for everyone.

Grab a coffee (with a pistachio croissant preferably) and let’s dive straight into our official photo report for Milan Women’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024!.
'FUTURE OF FOOTWEAR' [Talk by Spazio Fonte]
First on the agenda was the ‘Future of Footwear’ talk by Spazio Fonte.

This talk included the development of AI and how it is helping designers expand their vision and assist with the development of their design-making process.

The conversation also expanded to 3D printing and the introduction of new fabric technologies to the industry.

Moncler’s collaboration with Zellerfeld and Vibram’s work with SlamJam was a highlight of the conversation as it sparked the question of what a sustainable future for footwear could look like.

LINEAPELLE Trade Fair [ANAMORPH Stand]
LINEAPELLE is an international trade fair for the leather industry in Italy. It features hundreds of different booths from brands in all walks of life.

The one that stood out to us the most was the Anamorph Equipment latest prototypes, presented at the Industria Chimica Mediterranea stand. Anamorph is a relatively new brand that was birthed during Covid. It offers a significant amount of gear that is at the pinnacle of functionality and modularity. On showcase was an array of functional apparel from incredibly well-crafted bags to see-through waterproof jackets, which Gabriele is developing with his partners. It is excited to see more from Anamorph in the future.

MONCLER x PHARRELL SHOW
Moncler and Pharrell pulled out all the stops for the launch of their latest joint collaboration. Held at the Portrait Milano, their event was one of the most packed during the week.

The main highlight of the event was a special performance from Tobe Nwigwe, who was joined by a team of dancers and musicians on a huge Moncler and Pharell branded stage. It was an incredible display and Pharrell himself made an appearance towards the end to congratulate Tobe’s excellence.

During the event, there was also the chance to view the collection and see it up close. The showroom had been turned into an immersive experience, similar to the one in London earlier this year. Keen-eyed visitors were also able to spot some of yet unreleased items of footwear and clothes on the guests at the venue.

RUNAWAY MILANO x NORDA [Shake-out run]
Crowning Norda’s world tour was their event in collaboration with Runaway Milano. This store focuses heavily on providing the people of Milan with the highest quality running gear and accessories the world knows. Of course, you can’t have high-quality running gear without stocking Norda!

To mark this Fashion Week, both teams joined forces to give the chance to test some of Norda’s footwear. Those involved partook in a run around the center of the city whilst laced up in tester pairs of either the 001 or 002 models. It offered quite an immersive experience and a real sense of community. Runners had the opportunity to indulge in well-deserved complimentary refreshments afterward as well.
