[REEBOK Zig Kinetica II Edge GTX]
We were always fascinated by the beauty of different textiles. When you see such a detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth, and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Our new macro-editorial explores the eye-catching details of the Zig Kinetica II Edge GTX sneakers from Reebok. Despite the news over the past year (adidas announced the sale of Reebok to the American company Authentic Brands Group (ABG) for € 2.1 billion), it is safe to say that Reebok still has a lot to give and periodically releases some of its most successful and interesting designs. The Zig Tech technology, which first appeared in the Zig Pulse model in 2010, and then in the original Zig Kinetica in 2019 – brand's technology, along with Hexalite, Graphlite, and Pump, consists of internal soft Floatride Fuel foam and rigid TPU [thermoplastic polyurethane granules are sintered under a press], and surrounded by a zigzag shape of the sole, which helps to effectively distribute the load.
The next generation of Zig Kinetica, which came to us for a macro review – the Kinetica II Edge GTX model, is equipped with relevant and proven innovations in the form of a GORE-TEX INFINIUM ™ THERMIUM ™ membrane for protection from water and heat preservation, and a Vibram Ecostep sole.

In addition to this, we can mention a double foot fixation system, an internal zipper in the tongue area for easy putting on, a Velcro fastener on the outside of the product, and reinforced sole elements in the toe and heel area for improved grip with the surface.

The Kinetica II Edge GTX model is a hardcore continuation of the Zig Kinetica line, aimed at both hiking activity and urban exploration.

Here is our new THM Macroshot editorial, exploring this amazing product.
