The ROA x 8 Eight Lines capsule was spotted last weekend at the Paris Marathon, where the team activated their cheering zone along the route. Positioned within the flow of the race, the setup brought the collection into a real, fast-moving environment – shifting the focus from static presentation to something more immediate. The visual language is built around Guadeloupean cultural references, with madras patterns delivering strong color and rhythm, while the lizard motif appears as a recurring, more understated marker across the pieces.
The collection itself remains concise – a technical jacket, T-shirts, and a selection of accessories including a bag, cap, and socks – all aligned with ROA’s functional design approach. Rather than overextending, it focuses on clear elements and lets them operate within a broader context. The photo report documents that intersection – product, people, and environment – capturing how the collection performs outside of controlled settings.
