THM MACROSHOTS N7
[VOLLEBAK Ceramic t-shirt]
We were always fascinated by the beauty of different textiles. When you see such detailed picture of the structure of some amazing fabric, you can definitely understand the whole world of exploration and development behind its creation. And you are just mesmerized by the beauty of it. So we started our THM MACROSHOTS editorial series, where we explore the complexity, depth and beauty of different fabrics, textiles, materials, and hardware through the macro lens.

Created in 2017, this t-shirt is considered the most durable ever created. It's embedded with over 100,000 ceramic particles commonly found in jet engines and rocket nose cones. It is absolutely smooth and soft to the touch, combines everything you need for a perfect sports t-shirt – it is light, breathable, highly elastic and absorbs moisture well. Ceramic particles make it very resistant to abrasion and durable. Tested by the TECHUNTER team on a regular kitchen grater.
And here is our new THM Macroshot editorial, exploring Ceramic t-shirt by VOLLEBAK.

In our recent TECHUNTER 06 ONLINE digital issue, we also spoke with Steve Tidball [Vollebak co-founder] about the past, the present and the future of innovations, as well as the design for a hundred years to come. English version is available at the link.
