MONCLER: St. Moritz experience [Photo-report]

In 2010, the first Moncler Grenoble collection was presented to the world.

In 2024 we venture into the stunning valley of St. Moritz for a unique presentation of the latest Grenoble offering.

Moncler Grenoble is the line that is most closely connected to the heritage and mountain roots of the brand and owes its name to the city that hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1968, so the pressure was truly on.

For their most extensive dedicated show, the brand's team invited us for a suiting to the theme of this collection outdoor mountain experience.

We began our day with a variety of snow activities, centered around a stunning Paradiso mountain club.
After snowshoeing along the slopes of this Suvretta, taking in the views of the valley, aperitivo, and good rest, we make our way to what can only be described as the mystic night forest. The experience was enhanced by an amazing light design and personalized soundscapes through the use of individual headphones.

Collections of Grenoble always provide a fine mix of functionally elevated clothing to its user, and this latest installment builds upon the existing ques, yet a distinct and immediate takeaway is the coherency of all the pieces and styles. The use of premium and rarely utilized textiles in this niche of apparel has always been a key feature of Moncler, so it's no surprise material experimentation was at the forefront of each piece. The use of knits and new forms of quilting the puffers, as well as truly St. Moritz-appropriate maximalist footwear and bags rounded the offering.

With a bold and confident stride of a hundred models, this collection sets up an exciting and unique position for Grenoble as a one-stop shop for all things tastefully luxurious and functional, and we could not be more excited to see where this path brings us.
