Kiko Kostadinov AW25
[Runway Highlights]
This Paris Fashion Week marks our fifth time attending, and what an incredible journey it has been so far.

It’s been a packed and exhilarating week, but we couldn’t be more thrilled with the turnout and the inspiration we’ve gathered along the way. We’ve uncovered so many remarkable technical fashion and sportstyle insights and can’t wait to kick off the coming weeks of releases to share them with you.

One of the biggest highlights of the week was attending our first-ever Kiko Kostadinov runway show — a moment we’re truly honored and grateful to have experienced in person. His Fall/Winter 2025 collection marked a departure from his minimalist roots, embracing rawness and asymmetry as its defining elements. Influenced by Bulgarian filmmaker Béla Tarr, whose characters exist in environments that seep into their very being, the show’s set — strewn with dead autumn leaves — echoed this idea, blending atmosphere with design.
Asymmetry took center stage, with intentionally off-kilter cuts creating layered and fluid silhouettes. Hungarian and Bulgarian military uniforms inspired the tailored rigidity of certain pieces, while vivid cerulean, orange, and yellow hues — drawn from Kon Trubkovich’s paintings — added vibrancy to the textured and deconstructed garments.

Textile innovation defined the collection, with subtle embroidery referencing coin and trinket motifs on outerwear, while bold check patterns and apron-like draping featured on trousers. Accessories played with proportion, from oversized leather belts and massive scarves to dyed pony hair crossbody bags and monstrous leather gloves.

Continuing his collaboration with Asics, Kostadinov unveiled footwear inspired by the Japanese brand’s 1950s tabi marathon shoes, blending heritage with contemporary technology.

Despite its experimental edge, the collection retained Kostadinov’s understated ethos, as reflected in a Damnation quote from Béla Tarr: “I cling to nothing, but everything clings to me.” This interplay of concept and craft delivered a poetic yet grounded statement at Paris Fashion Week.
